Ace Combat Infinity was a much more successful attempt at merging Ace Combat into the real world, sadly the F2P system was atrocious and scared most off. Multiplayer in Assault Horizon and Infinity were so much better than 7's. Its one element that feels like such a significant downgrade after 5 and Assault Horizon.
This is the fourth Ace Combat game I've played. (AC2, AC3 and AC4 being the others. It's got a familiar feel to the others, which is good. The missions are fairly varied, and many are challenging. You will definitely be reloading a mission more than a few times.

Ace Combat 7 DLC confusion : r/PSVR. I'm looking to pick up AC7 on the back Friday sales, and am about to pull the trigger on the Deluxe edition that includes the DLC. The trailers and PSN store description imply the DLC missions are VR compatible. But some googling seems to contradict this.
